Stay is a wonderfully written book about Matt and Hailey. Two individuals who were unlucky in love the first time around with their spouses.
Hailey is a co-owner of a very interesting business – Fetch that takes care of all types of things (from errands for basic needs to more unique needs). Matt is of course a busy hockey player. I find the supporting characters to be very interesting and I love the terms that Hailey’s friend comes up with, those were just extremely funny and kept me laughing through the entire book. Matt also has friend that comes up with some funny nicknames that are so off the wall they are hard to follow but so funny you can’t help but love them once you understand them.
Matt is a passionate soul about his job, his kids and things that are important. He has just lost his way where love is concerned. It’s very interesting to see how this plays out with both Matt and Hailey coming from very different back grounds and then coming together (literally – hehe) to trust and find what was missing from the previous relationships. Bonus the sex scene’s are HOT!!!
This story does have its twists and turns but in the end, the good guy wins and the real issues are addressed by everyone involve
