In Good Boy, we learn more about Blake (team mate of Ryan’s) and Jess (Jamie’s sister) from the “Him” and “Us” novels.

While there is hot chemistry between Blake and Jess while they are taking care of Jamie in “Us”, Jess make the decision that it just isn’t meant to be between the two.

Forward to the wedding of Ryan and Jamie, which Jess is the party planner for and Blake is Ryan’s best man. Again, sparks fly between them but Jess puts the breaks on yet again. Blake knows that Jess is the gal for him but timing just doesn’t seem to work out for them.

While Jess has issues picking a career (and who honestly doesn’t) she decides to pursue a nursing career where schooling takes her to Toronto. While being close to Ryan and Jamie is great… she is having trouble dealing with Blake.

But a friendship does evolve and feelings start to grow until they finally come together after some bumps in the road.

Such a great book with lots of laughs (Blake is hysterical and his nicknames are the best) and tears as Jess has struggles that are so real that make you question things about yourself some times.
