The Hooker – Ronan Fitzpatrick, Irish Rugby star, extremely fit and HOT guy with a really bad temper
The Hermit – Annie Catrel, American blogger and expert social media gal, extremely shy and introverted with several social hangups do to her upbringing
Ronan is currently suspended from his team due to his temper and his PR firm has requested the services of Davidson & Croft Media to help create a better image for him. While initially opposed to this, he meets Annie in the Davidson & Croft office and is instantly drawn to her. Unfortunately, Annie wants nothing to do with him.
Enter Annie’s unique boss and the demand from Ronan that he only work with Annie and you have the wonderful mix of HOT guy that gets what he wants and shy girl who pulls away at every chance she gets. While they finally make some breakthroughs and work together, it isn’t until the ugly (in more ways that one) ex of Ronan that forces a new course of action. While Davidson & Croft staff are looking for a perfect woman for Ronan to date, Ronan and Annie actually have sparks and cause a stir all on their own. The images are captured and posted to the media like with all sports stars and a “fake” romance is now in the works.
While is starts as fake, it turns to more on both parts but given Annie’s side job and her extremely bad upbringing, she questions everything and everyone. Ronan also has some things he wants to keep hidden as well but in the end all things do come out. It’s interesting how each new challenge plays out between the two and how their pasts direct the decisions that are made. We also have Ronan’s over bearing Mother who interjects even more issues to this mix.
But with all great romances, this one comes to a happy end (even with a few tears in the mix).
Side note – we meet some really interesting side characters that make for a great story and series!
