I laughed, I cried and I absolutely loved it!!

In this 4th book of the Winston Brothers Series, we finally get Beau’s story. While we catch up with the other wonderful family members (and knitting friends). Beau is at a loss as Duane is getting ready to leave with Jess, and other members of the family seem to have found their soul mates or their path in life. Beau is also upset at the fact that Cletus hires on Shelly Sullivan (Quinn’s sister) doesn’t help things either.

While Beau and Shelly have a rough start, things finally start to even out and we find out that Shelly is suffering from a mental illness. Once Beau knows about this and why Shelly acts the way she does, things make more sense and Beau starts to have the feels for her. Shelly is honest to a fault due to the issues she has and Beau finds that it is refreshing and he falls for her even as Shelly finds it hard to figure out why.

We also find out some disturbing facts about a couple of the Winston boys that I get but totally don’t like and just how awful their father really is. But we also get to see the side of the boys that we only briefly see in the other three books – which is wonderful.

Beau and Shelly figure out that they can help each other through their issues and come out on the other side stronger and better people. They make such a great pair and I was rooting for them from the start.
Penny Reid has done it again and if you have’t read any of the Knitting series or the Winston Brothers series, I highly recommend it. They are funny, with great characters and interesting situations.
