Derrick ‘The Love Whisperer’ King is a radio personality who gives out love and sex advice on his talk show. Kat is a listener who calls in to get advice after getting dumped. She likes his voice and feels empowered after his suggestions. Sparks fly between them from just chatting on air. Derrick wants to get to know her better and offers his phone number to Kat. Kat is hesitant about contacting him. But she does!
Derrick has a very naughty and dirty sexy side to him but retains traditional values on love. He has a way with words. Kat is tainted and cynical so it takes her longer to open up and trust that Derrick is actually interested in someone like her, a sassy software developer. The chemistry between the two, Wow! You became very aware of it right away. There is lots of dirty talk and plenty of sex in this book! They start their relationship in a backwards sort of way. But wind up finding their way!!
