Five star read from Mickey Miller – Boss with Benefits is just what it sounds like but much, much naughtier 😉
In this story from Blackwell, we have Sebastian and Brett (yes a girl with boys name). Sebastian is Liam’s brother and the billionaire of Blackwell. Brett is just a gal that is in Sebastian way… doesn’t help that he thinks Brett is a guy. Sebastian wants/needs the land that Brett’s family house and farm is on and she’s not willing to sell for anything.
Sebastian doesn’t take kindly to this news but when her application for employment comes across his desk, he decides to hire her. Keep enemies close and all that. The interview is a blast to read and we see some evil come out in another character but I’m not going to spoil that.
Things are going great and she’s starting to fit in. Problem is that she has free time and well she wants to be a writer. So she starts using her work computer to write her novel from work, saving her work to the cloud. Little does she know, work can track her documents… even on the cloud. She continues on with work and writing but someone finds her little secret. She just doesn’t know who it is.
She thinks she knows who it is and gets busted trying to snoop around the office. While getting busted, she does figure out who it is and low and behold it’s the boss. She has a proposal for him that turns out to more than he can refuse and they continue with the game they are playing. Turns out he helps her write the book, which it wicked good. She learns more about what her fantasies are and how to act out on them. They know they are playing a dangerous game but can’t seem to stop.
They decide to keep up the relationship, Brett is still employed but the person from the initial interview decides to be a witched bitch and threaten Sebastian. Brett freaks and makes a run from the situation and tries to end things with him given how everything is now f’d up 🙁
Sebastian doesn’t want things to end, so he goes and spends time with his grandparents, who are the perfect example of a great relationship. They encourage him to do what makes him happy and go after Brett. While he does, things are still fubar’d but they do work it out and tackle the problem head on. Turns out that the witch bitch is just that… a jealous, wicked bitch that didn’t and can’t take no for an answer. Brett handles her and her little plan like a pro and turns the table on her. Again, no spoiler from me but I do love how this played out… yeah, yeah I know I’m an evil person 🙂
