Hide and Seek: A Rock Games Novel: Vol. 2
By Nicole Goodin
I received an advanced reader copy in exchange for an honest review.
I have to say I love this book! The banter between lollipop (Jasper) and Barbie Girl (Hannah) is classic!! We were introduced to them in Paper, Scissors, Rock with Jasper as the best friends of rock star, Parker Sloan and Hannah as the best friend of Charlotte. Jasper and Hannah challenge each other and always try to one up each other on their dates. They always have fun together with Parker and Charlotte on their outings. Hannah masks her severe insecurity well but Jasper breaks down her walls and gets to see the real Hannah. Jasper and Hannah make it a game between each other and play their own version of hide and seek. Jasper falls hard for Hannah. When things get serious between Jasper and Hannah, those fears rear its ugly head making Hannah step up her half of their game. Jasper has his work cut out for him trying to prove to Hannah how far he will go to find her.
The characters were well developed and I loved how they related to each other throughout the book. It was interesting to watch their relationship develop over time. Nicole pulled off their history with each other using flashbacks which strengthens the story. This was a great read I couldn’t put down! I flew through the book and couldn’t wait to get to the end of the story!
