Cole is an aeronautical engineer building airplanes using alternative fuels. Jessica is a photographer and single mom hired to photograph his employee appreciation event. Needless to say, they get off to a rocky start. Jessica slaps Cole and her mama bear comes out! Cole finds Jessica interesting and wants to prove to her he is not a jerk. So he pursues her and becomes friends with her son Max. Jessica is not sure about Cole at first but eventually warms up to him. Lots of airplanes and trust issues from the past for both of them.
Good read overall. I wish the ending included more though.
