Oliver Steele – Rich, single, hot guy with family issues. Loves to play with fire.

Mindy Price –  Coffee Shop Manager (owners Bri & Gavin from “Anaconda”),  sassy and says the first thing that comes to mind.

Such a fun read. Again we have the crew from “Andaconda” but this time Mindy is the main female character.

It seems that Mindy has been telling tales to her family about being engaged but yet there is no man in site. The a fateful call from Mom, and she now has to produce said fiance’ for dear ole Mom’s wedding. Oh yeah and they need to be there for a week.

She and Bri talk about it; Bri talks to Gavin and enter Oliver. Since money is no object for Gavin and Oliver they play a high stakes poker match and let’s just say Oliver lost and he make the choice to play Mindy’s “fake” fiance’ for the week.

There are sparks between the two but they are both very strong willed characters and both want to win. But then Mindy stops fighting her feelings and desires for the week and Oliver goes with it. The struggle is real and funny between the two. When you toss in the rest of the family & pets it gets even better. All things look to be moving toward something coming together for the two until Mom get’s a little to pushy and Mindy can’t take it any more; toss in Oliver’s confession about the poker game and Mindy spills the beans about all.

Forward a couple of weeks after that disaster of a day, and Oliver is still very into Mindy and she’s miserable without him. With help from Bri and Gavin, Oliver takes the chance on some investments and Mindy and things come to HEA.

I really laugh a lot through this, I found the push and pull between Mindy and Oliver to be great.
